{embrace} presents an Unconscious Bias Workshop to HKUST Faculty

{embrace} worldwide Managing Partner Ken Chow, presented the Unconscious Bias Workshop to Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) Faculty, organised by HKUST Women in Faculty Association. Exploring the stereotypes - both positive and negative - that exist in our sub-consciousness and how they affect behaviours personally and professionally. 

An interactive workshop with group coaching facilitated by Claire Jung, participants:

  • saw the impact unconscious bias, and discrimination has on academia
  • explored the neuroscience of unconscious bias and ways to mitigate with collective awareness
  • began to highlight the importance of inclusive leadership and how this enhances performance, engagement and ultimately business growth.
